This Privacy Policy explains how DLR TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L. ("ProxySocks5", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit proxysocks5.com or use our services.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Account and contact information, such as your email address and information you submit to us;
• Order, subscription, and transaction details, while payment details are handled by payment providers;
• Support communications, including information you provide through email or live chat;
• Technical and usage information, such as pages visited, referrer, approximate location, browser, operating system, device type, and interactions, through the analytics services described below;

3. Why we use personal data

We process personal data to:

• Provide accounts, subscriptions, orders, and customer support under our contract with you;
• Protect our website, users, and infrastructure based on our legitimate security interests;
• Meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations;
• Measure basic website usage through cookieless Umami based on our legitimate interests;
• Use Google Analytics to measure and improve website usage when you give consent.

Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

4. Website analytics

We use analytics only to understand website traffic and improve our content and user experience. Our self-hosted, cookieless Umami analytics operates without Google Analytics consent. Google Analytics does not load until you accept it. Rejecting Google Analytics does not limit your access to the website or our services.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, to measure page views and website interactions. Google Analytics may process page paths, page titles, referrers, approximate geographic area, browser and device information, and analytics identifiers. We do not send account names, email addresses, or other directly identifying account information to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics may set the _ga and _ga_<container-id> first-party cookies to distinguish visits. These cookies normally expire after up to two years, unless you withdraw consent or remove them sooner. We have disabled Google Signals and advertising personalization in our website tag, and advertising-related Consent Mode settings remain denied.

Self-hosted Umami

We also use a self-hosted Umami. It measures information such as page paths, referrers, browser, operating system, device type, country, and configured website events. Umami is configured without cookies or persistent device identifiers. We process this limited usage information based on our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate website performance and improving the website.

5. Your Google Analytics choice

We store your accepted or rejected Google Analytics choice, its version, and the time of your choice in your browser's local storage. This strictly necessary preference prevents us from asking on every page and expires after six months. It is not used to track you.

You can change your choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page without Google Analytics. It does not disable cookieless Umami analytics.

6. Live chat and embedded content

We use Brevo Conversations to provide live-chat support. The Brevo widget loads when you visit the website and may receive technical connection data and store information needed to provide chat functionality. If you start a chat, Brevo also processes the information you submit. We use this service to provide requested support and pursue our legitimate interest in assisting visitors and customers. Some pages may contain embedded content such as YouTube videos. Loading or interacting with embedded content can allow its provider to receive technical data under its own privacy policy.

7. When we share data

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with:

• Hosting, infrastructure, support, analytics, and payment providers that help us operate our services;
• Professional advisers and authorities when required by law or needed to protect legal rights;
• A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of our business.

Providers may process data outside Romania or the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer safeguard.

8. How long we retain data

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including contractual, security, accounting, and legal requirements. Google Analytics event-level data is configured for a maximum of 14 months. Aggregated reports may remain available after they can no longer be linked to an analytics identifier. Support, account, and transaction records may be retained longer where needed to provide the service or comply with law.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal data, including encrypted HTTPS connections and restricted access. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. We will update the date at the top of this page and request consent again when a change materially affects consent-based analytics processing.
